Meet Our Doctors and Staff

The mission of Family Practice of Chiropractic is to provide the community with the highest quality, cost-effective chiropractic care possible; to exceed expectations; to eliminate and/or reduce the vertebral subluxation complex in a caring, modern and positive environment thereby restoring the body's natural healing process; and to promote wellness and health in our community by educating each person we meet about the benefits of lifetime chiropractic care.

Dr. Ricky Brannon (or Dr. B) is a native of South Carolina. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Limestone College located in Gaffney, SC. While attending Limestone he majored in Biology and was president of the Limestone College Science Club. He also enjoyed playing baseball for the Saints. He earned his doctorate degree, with the Cum Laude honor, from Sherman College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Brannon and his wife, Eve, reside in Chapin, SC with their three children.
Dr. R, Jim Minico Jr.

Head Associate Doctor

Whatever Dr. Jim Minico does, he is firm, positive and enthusiastic in his approach.

Jim was offered a football scholarship and attended West Virginia Wesleyan College in 1980. After serious injury to his back, Jim left for home and enrolled in Otterbein College in Westerville, OH. There, Jim finished his pre-requisites to Sherman College for Straight Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC., where he graduated in 1985, as a Doctor of Chiropractic.

Bringing his college sweetheart, Kim, back north with him, they were married in 1986. Jim and Kim settled in southeastern Michigan where they founded Minico Family Chiropractic. In 2003 they relocated to South Carolina and opened Family Practice of Chiropractic.

Dr. Minico constantly strives to improve his knowledge in the field of chiropractic. He has completed several post-graduate study programs emphasizing better patient care and treatment of whiplash injuries, headaches, neck and back pain. A firm believer in the basic worth of every individual and the incredible healing power of the body, Dr. Minico is a true doctor for the people.

Dr. Minico and his wife, Kim, have three children and reside in Chapin, S.C.

Kim Minico

Head of Insurance & Billing Dept/ Head Patient Coordinator

Kim and Dr Minico have partners in the practice and in life for over 30 years. Being a Carolina native, she attended Converse College in Spartanburg and was majoring in Pre-Med. It was during that time she met Dr Minico while he was attending neighboring Sherman Chiropractic College, and had her first introduction to Chiropractic and the difference it makes in people's lives. The two got married and left for SE Michigan where they started Minico Family Chiropractic.

Kim specializes in insurance and billing, but also runs the day to day operations of our practice. She has even served as a trainer at one of the best chiropractic management firms in the country to help other chiropractic offices on front desk, chiropractic assistant, and insurance and billing procedure.

Josh Minico

Head of Marketing & Patient Coordinator

Josh has, in some ways, always been involved with our practice. Being Dr. and Kim Minico's son, he has pretty much grown up in our chiropractic office. Starting out filing and doing odds and ends jobs, he eventually went to school to specialize in business management and marketing.

After working in a outside sales and marketing position with a national company, he went on to start his own life insurance and financial planning agency. After running that agency for 4 years, he decided it was time for a change. Being that his passion is in natural healthcare and wellness, it was a perfect fit for him to come back and run the marketing practices here at Family Practice of Chiropractic.

He is in charge of the design and implementation of our promotions throughout the year, as well as our social media. Also, being a patient coordinator, he is able to interact with and have a personal impact on our patients that come in each and every day. He and his wife currently reside in Chapin, SC.
